Bill Titcombe some of his comic work for Krazy and TV Comic

I always like the painted bright colours they used...also a pun a panel..its fun to see Tom and Jerry from the USA playing football (soccer in USA).

these are from TV Comic pages are from TV Comic Holiday Special 1979.
Nice story :) ..The title panel looks like its been redrawn. It must be a reprint when better paper was used in the original comic so the grey washes were then a lot clearer than here...
Where human bear meets a real bear cub!

Now to Krazy comic 1976-77

Based on Going Straight when he comes out of Prison. You really have to know the telly of the 70's to work out what the characters and programs are. As they are not named sometimes..

I don't know this detective program?

I can see Les Dawson..Ronnie Corbett...Mr Humphries..Larry Grayson...can you name the others..

The detective programme is The Streets Of San Francisco. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Streets_of_San_Francisco

Star Karl Malden had a...lets say "unique" nose.

Those late 70s TV Comic Specials are end to end reprints, Peter. The Barney Bears were originally in colour.

Celebrity Squares - top right Hattie Jacques. Middle right Bernard Manning (?) (although according to imdb he never appeared on the show, but in order to make the comic gag work they needed 3 large people on the right), Bottom centre Willie Rushton. Don't know who the other 2 females are supposed to be. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0195450/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast
